Frequently Asked Questions

What is WholeCare Mobile Advanced Wound Care?

WholeCare provides advanced wound care services directly to patients in their homes and residential care settings. Our goal is to make specialized wound care convenient, personalized, and accessible.

We evaluate and treat a variety of acute and chronic wounds, including diabetic wounds, pressure injuries, venous and arterial ulcers, surgical wounds, traumatic wounds, and other difficult-to-heal wounds.

Our services may be appropriate for patients who have chronic or complex wounds, limited mobility, difficulty traveling to appointments, or who would benefit from receiving specialized wound care in their place of residence.

Depending on service availability, care may be provided in private residences, personal care homes, assisted living communities, independent living communities, and skilled nursing facilities.

You can contact WholeCare directly or use the Schedule a Visit option on our website. Our team will help determine the next steps.

Visit frequency varies depending on the type and severity of the wound, your treatment plan, and how the wound responds to care.

Treatment may include advanced dressings, wound debridement, compression therapy, pressure offloading, skin substitutes and biological products, nutritional support, and other evidence-based therapies when clinically appropriate.
